Fair point, I admit I was being a picky literalist. It just really gets my goat when liberal writers are talking about the disastrous conditions in America and how being brown in America is like wearing a “1D sucks" shirt surrounded by tween girls, when countless brown people risk life and limb trying to get into the self-same dystopian garbage dump every day.
