I don’t think people who spread the memes you talk about are unaware of the negative sides of the imperium, they just see them as justified. My first article ever which I wrote recently talks about this, it’s probably not very well written but you might find it interesting. If you want an explanation of why people think the imperium would be a good thing now it is because they think the real world is fast becoming dystopian.
