Your three points are surprisingly astute and accurate, so I won’t point out any problems with them, but your point about the economy is somewhat misplaced. It is obviously a big factor, but everyone always goes to the poverty and inflation in Weimar Germany, when land lost and the threat from Communism were at least as important.
